Café Sieburg in Bad Karlshafen

Very friendly service and great homemade cakes and pies. I can only recommend!

We have been coming to this café regularly since it opened. The quality of the cakes and the coffee specialties is consistently excellent. Since the boss bakes herself, she can give you explicit information about the ingredients of the cakes so that no allergy sufferer gets into trouble. During our last visit we were able to experience the consistent implementation of the Corona rules. Every table, every card, every pen was disinfected after use, which happens several times an hour in a café because of the frequency with which guests change. The fact that guests sit at tables that have not been cleared is regrettable. However, if someone sits down at a "finished" table, but leaves it impatiently because the order cannot be placed within a very short time, it is annoying - because then the disinfecting procedure begins again. For us, Café Sieburg is always worth a visit.

Cake delicious ... Service was very annoyed and rude! Feel at home despite the beautiful harbor? No result, what a shame!

My partner and I have just returned from Bad Karlshafen. What we 2 elderly gentlemen experienced in that cafe is indescribable. Masked, we went to the cake buffet to make our choice. It was obviously the boss who rudely pointed out that it was ordered at the table and only served outside. How should one then e.g. know what a Huguenot cake is? An extremely unpleasant exchange of words developed, in which the cafe owner stood out for her unbelievable cheek. We have not encountered anything like this in our 70 years of life. One can only advise against a visit to this cafe. A dying place like Karlhafen in particular needs a friendly business world so badly. Across the street in Cafe Westbomke we came to our rights. Delicious selection of cakes at the buffet, reasonable prices and friendly service. It's just a shame for us that such an unqualified person missed the rest of Sunday so much.

Despite the bad weather, our mood was immediately sunny. Good coffee, delicious cake. Great!

The waitress sent us away because she was overwhelmed with serving more than the 10 seats in the outside area. Poor performance to be honest. That you have to do this unfriendly and annoyed is really outrageous therefore 1 star.

There were four of us in the café yesterday, and not for the first time (we come from near Hanover). It's such a nice café with delicious cakes and a great view of the harbor. The only thing that clouded the enjoyment was the employee. I have rarely seen such unfriendly service. What a shame!!!

Friendly owner and the most delicious cake I have eaten!! Cakes are handmade with love. Beautiful fresh flowers on the table, and a fantastic view onto the water, really a beautiful Cafe, a little gem, we will return again, and again!

Nice ambience, great home-baked cakes and not the usual bakery goods. Delicious coffee. Nice view of the harbor. When the weather is nice you can also sit outside. Always my pleasure.

We were there Sunday for the best coffee time. Capacity about 70% Nevertheless, we have waited 20 minutes for the operation. We were about to go because runaways who only bought cakes at the counter would be served first. Until we were there was only a piece of the only pie there. Not enough for 5 people then 3 cake that's it
